Ask the Butcher for: Full Wings including wing tips

Recipe

Go for a sweet and spicy barbecue seasoning. Ingredients for the seasoning should include, sugar, salt, pepper, paprika, mustard, onion and garlic powders.

Glaze

Thin down your favorite barbecue sauce with apple juice to make an easy to drizzle glaze. Add your glaze to a squeeze bottle for easy application.

Method

  1. Apply a generous coating of your barbecue seasoning on both sides of the wings and place in your smoker which has been pre-heated to 275F.
  2. Smoke until the wings reach 165F internal temperature.
  3. Once wings reach 165F, glaze with your thinned down barbecue sauce, making sure to cover both sides of the wings.
  4. Return to the smoker and continue to cook at 275F, glazing the wings a second time when they reach 190F.
  5. When the wings reach 195F internal temperature, remove them from the smoker to serve.

Servings

Wings are super cheap, so fill the smoker with as many as you can. If there are any leftovers, simply refrigerate them in an airtight container and reheat to serve or eat cold as a tasty cheeky snack in between meals.
